ELLESSÈNE candles are composed primarily of plant-derived fragrance oils sourced in Grasse, France, paired with 100% cotton, lead-free wicks and a custom vegan wax blend designed to enhance burn quality and longevity.

ELLESSÈNE candle vessels are designed for continued use and may be repurposed as tumblers. Our packaging is produced without plastics or composite materials, using renewable, plant-based fibers that are biodegradable and recyclable.

Best Practices
For the first burn, allow at least 2 hours or until the entire surface of the wax is melted. Always burn your candle in sight and keep away from nearby objects. Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.

Maintenance
Keep the wick to a length of approximately 6 millimeters (¼ inch), trimming the wick as needed between uses with scissors.

Longevity
Keep your candle at room temperature, between 60 and 80° F (15 to 26° C). Ensure the wick maintains its central position between uses; if needed, readjust the wick while wax is melted.

When used as directed, ELLESSÈNE candles are designed to provide an even, slow burn lasting approximately 55-60 hours.

Our candle vessels repurpose as dishwasher-friendly tumblers for whiskey or cocktails to promote lifelong use and minimize environmental impact.

Step I.
Place your finished candle in the freezer for a few hours or until frozen to loosen any remaining wax.

Step II.
The wax should easily pop out. Gently scrape any remaining residue from the bottom using a butter knife or similar.

Step III.
Peel off all labels from the the glass. Remove any excess residue with rubbing alcohol on a cotton pad.

Step IV.
Wash the glass before first use and after subsequent uses. Our glasses are dishwasher safe.
